A village name Round Prairie is located in section 18.
Round Prairie Village was platted in 1903 and had a post office from 1868 to 1963.
[5] The fish species in the Lake include black bullhead, black crappie, bluegill, brown bullhead, green sunfish, hybrid sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, pumpkinseed, rock bass, walleye, yellow bullhead, yellow perch, shorthead redhorse, white sucker, central mudminnow, golden shiner, Johnny darter, and tadpole madtom.
[5] Lasher Lake Wildlife Management Area, in Round Prairie Township, includes 146 acres of grassland, brush, and open water wetland.
The Minnesota DNR says that White tail deer, pheasants, and a variety of waterfowl can be found on the WMA.
