Santa Rosa is a census-designated place (CDP) in Starr County, Texas, United States.

(Not to be confused with the new Santa Cruz CDP.

)[1] Santa Rosa is located at 26°20′55″N 98°46′12″W / 26.34861°N 98.77000°W / 26.34861; -98.77000 (26.348732, -98.769912).

[2] Santa Rosa was one of two CDPs (along with the El Chaparral CDP) formed out of the deleted Santa Cruz CDP prior to the 2010 U.S.
