Sharon Gail Lee (born December 8, 1953) is an American lawyer and jurist who served as a justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court from 2008 to 2023.
[1] She continued her education at the University of Tennessee College of Law, graduating in 1978.
[1] During her time in private practice, she served as county attorney for Monroe County, Madisonville city judge, and city attorney for Vonore and Madisonville.
She was the first woman to serve on the Eastern Section of the Court of Appeals.
She served as chief justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court from September 1, 2014, to August 31, 2016.
