Silverstreet is a town in Newberry County, South Carolina, United States.

[5] The town is located along South Carolina Highway 34 west of Newberry and just north of the Saluda River.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.5 square miles (9.1 km2), all land.

The racial makeup of the town was 83.33% White, 14.35% African American, and 2.31% from two or more races.

About 7.7% of families and 7.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 4.9% of those under the age of eighteen and 17.8% of those 65 or over.
