The Slimnic is a left tributary of the river Coțatcu in Romania.

The upper reach of the river is sometimes referred to as Tâmboești.

It flows through the villages Bordeștii de Jos, Tâmboești, Slimnic, Obrejița, Sihlea and Bogza.
