Snoqualmie Lake Potholes

Self-issued Alpine Lake Wilderness permit required for transit within the Big Snow Mountain area.

[4][1] The Snoqualmie Lake Potholes are located on the north skirt of Little Bulger mountain.

Granitoid ridges near the lake rise to about 3,425 feet (1,044 m) above sea level.

Most of the region is underlain by medium to coarsely crystalline granodiorite which are exposed on the shores of the lakes.

[5] The Snoqualmie Lake Potholes are located in a hemiboreal climate,[6] part of the marine west coast climate zone of western North America.
