South Coventry Township, Pennsylvania

The township derives its name from Coventry, England, the native home of an early settler.

[4] According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 7.5 square miles (19 km2), all land.

There are three main historical and unincorporated villages within the township: Bucktown, Coventryville, and Pughtown.

18.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

PA 23 follows Ridge Road along an east-west alignment through the central portion of the township.
