Spassky District (Russian: Спа́сский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Penza Oblast, Russia.
It is located in the northwest of the oblast.
The area of the district is 693.3 square kilometers (267.7 sq mi).

[3] Until March 14, 2006, the district was called Bednodemyanovsky (Беднодемьяновский).
