It is part of the Grand Forks-ND-MN Metropolitan Statistical Area.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 174 people, 61 households, and 48 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 98.85% White, 0.57% Native American, and 0.57% from two or more races.

16.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

None of the families and 2.2% of the population were living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 10.5% of those over 64.
