Woodside Township, Polk County, Minnesota

It is part of the Grand Forks-ND-MN Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Woodside Township was organized in 1882, and named for the woods along the shore of Maple Lake.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 514 people, 210 households, and 162 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 98.44% White, 0.78% Native American, and 0.78% from two or more races.

19.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
