Synsphyronus marinae

Synsphyronus marinae is a species of pseudoscorpion in the Garypidae family.

It was described in 2021 by Australian arachnologists Karen Cullen and Mark Harvey.

The specific epithet marinae honours Marina Cheng for her companionship during Bush Blitz expeditions and for her research on Hemiptera.

[1] The species occurs in the Top End of the Northern Territory.

The type locality is Herbert Bluff in the Wongalara Sanctuary, where the pseudoscorpions were found beneath sandstone rocks.
