Tamar Chergoleishvili (Georgian: თამარ ჩერგოლეიშვილი, born May 25, 1975, in Tbilisi) is a Georgian journalist and politician.
Born on May 25, 1975, Chergoleishvili graduated in 1997 from the Faculty of International Law and Relations at Tbilisi State University, majoring in international relations and earned a Master's in International Human Rights Law from the University of Strasbourg.
She served as the head of the legal group at the Council of Europe from 2006 to 2010.
In 2023, she started her political career by becoming a member of European Georgia,[1] which she left in 2024 along with her colleagues due to an internal dispute.
