The Therapeutics Initiative (TI) is an independent organization at the University of British Columbia (UBC) which researches the effectiveness of medications and provides education to health care providers in British Columbia about the use of medications.
[1][2] The Therapeutics Initiative was founded in 1994 by the British Columbia Ministry of Health.

[4] They additionally publish the "Therapeutics Letter"[4] and are part of the International Society of Drug Bulletins.
[5] In 2008, a pharmaceutical task force established by the British Columbia government published a report on the Therapeutics Initiative.
