With a maximum capacity of just 3,000 people, the Tito Puente Amphitheatre is a frequent spot for smaller, more "intimate" concert events, and hosts numerous artists performing many styles of music.
[1] The venue is home of the Puerto Rico Heineken Jazz Festival each year, and is located adjacent to the Roberto Clemente Coliseum and Hiram Bithorn Stadium.
Additionally, the venue is a popular location for graduations, weddings and other ceremonial events, as well as for photo shoots.
After a brief closure, due to damages caused by Hurricane Maria, the amphitheatre re-opened in mid December 2017 with a concert featuring Circo (and other artists) called Corona Fest x Nuestra Playas ("Corona Fest for our Beaches").
[4] On July 1, 2023, popular reggaetonera Young Miko headlined a concert at the venue.
