Tom Tvedt (born 31 January 1968) is a Norwegian politician and former handball player for the Labour Party.
[3][4] He also served as a deputy representative to the Storting, Norway's parliament, from Rogaland between 2005 and 2009.
[6] The start of his tenure was marked by the Oslo bid for the 2022 Winter Olympics, which was ultimately withdrawn prior to the selection of Beijing as the host city.
[10] Tvedt is married to fellow politician Kjersti Stenseng.
[13] Tvedt played as a handball player through the 1990s prior to becoming mayor of Randaberg.
