The Byfjord Tunnel connects the islands of Stavanger Municipality to the east with the mainland of Randaberg.

The Rogfast tunnel is going to be built from Randaberg, under the Boknafjorden, to the north side of the fjord as well as to the island of Kvitsøy.

The official blazon is "Azure, fourteen plates in orle" (Norwegian: I blått 14 sølv mynter langs randen).
