Tynycwm Halt railway station

Tynycwm Halt railway station served the town of Risca, Monmouthshire, Wales, from 1935 to 1962 on the Monmouthshire Railway.

The station was opened on 17 April 1935 by the Great Western Railway.

[1][2] I remember travelling daily, with my older sister, sometimes on a GWR Railcar, usually on a two part diesel, to school in Risca from Tyn y Cwm Halt in 1958/9.

The return fare was 3d.
