Tyrannochthonius basme is a species of pseudoscorpion in the Chthoniidae family.
It was described in 2008 by Australian arachnologists Karen Edward and Mark Harvey.
[1][2] The species occurs in the Pilbara region of North West Australia.
The type locality is a borehole on Mesa B, 40 km west of the iron-ore mining town of Pannawonica and some 1,400 km north of Perth.
