Valzeina is a Swiss village in the Prättigau and a former municipality in the political district of Prättigau/Davos in the canton of Graubünden.
Of the rest of the land, 2.5% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (3.9%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).
It consists of scattered settlements in Vorder-Valzeina, Hinter-Valzeina and Sigg (on the right side of the valley).
[6] The age distribution, as of 2000[update], in Valzeina is; 24 children or 17.1% of the population are between 0 and 9 years old and 18 teenagers or 12.9% are between 10 and 19.
