The station is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to broadcast with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 94 kW.

WMYB-FM signed on January 11, 1965, with 3,000 watts simulcasting sister station 1450/WMYB's[1] "Good Music" (American Songbook) format in mono.
