Wadley is a city in Jefferson County, Georgia, United States.
The community was named for William Morill Wadley, a railroad official.
[4] The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Wadley as a town in 1876.
[7] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.6 square miles (12 km2), of which 4.6 square miles (12 km2) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) (1.09%) is water.
As of the 2020 United States census, there were 1,643 people, 654 households, and 381 families residing in the city.
