Warsaw is a town in Wyoming County, in the U.S. state of New York.
In the decades before the American Civil War, Warsaw was a center of abolitionist sentiment and activity.
[4][5] In November 1839 the anti-slavery Liberty Party was formed in a meeting at Warsaw's Presbyterian Church.

Oatka Creek flows northward through the Wyoming Valley in the town.
