Weegena is a locality and small rural community in the local government areas of Meander Valley and Kentish in the North West region of Tasmania.
The 2016 census determined a population of 91 for the state suburb of Weegena.
[2] The Mersey River passes through the centre of the locality from east to west after forming part of the south-east boundary.
[3] The C160 route (Weegena Road) enters the locality from the east, before turning north and exiting.
