West Shamokin High School

West Shamokin Junior–Senior High School (WSHS) is a small, public high school located in Rural Valley, Pennsylvania, in the United States.

West Shamokin was founded in June 2000 to consolidate the Shannock Valley Jr/Sr and the Dayton Jr/Sr high schools.

[5] Students can attend Lenape Technical School for vocational education for half a day when they enter their sophomore year or a full day once a junior.

The school permits clubs to meet after classes or in the early morning.

The campus includes a fitness center as well as baseball/softball, soccer, and turf American football fields.
