It opened in 2008 as part of the new Bridgemont development, which, along with the resort itself, now includes shopping, dining, and conference facilities.

In December 2023, the addition of a 'water coaster' (developed by WhiteWater West) and lazy river was made within the indoor waterpark.

In March 2024, the resort added a rooftop lounge featuring a pool outlooking the general vicinity as well as a bar and cafeteria.

River Lodge A condominium resort with multi-room suites, the hotel is connected to the Lake Wilderness outdoor waterpark and Wild WaterDome indoor water park.

Stone Hill Lodge The hotel is connected to the Salamander Springs outdoor waterpark and the Sevierville events center.
