Wright is a census-designated place (CDP) in Okaloosa County, Florida, United States.

It is part of the Crestview–Fort Walton Beach–Destin, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 21,697 people, 9,134 households, and 5,507 families residing in the CDP.

There were 10,004 housing units at an average density of 1,829.1 per square mile (706.2/km2).

29.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
