Yaa Ntiamoah Badu

Yaa Ntiamoa-Baidu is a Ghanaian zoologist, environmental specialist, academic and management expert.

[7] In 2005, Yaa Ntiamoa-Baidu was inducted along with four other professors of various academic disciplines as fellows of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences.

[5] In March 2017, President Nana Akufo-Addo appointed her to chair the fourteen member board of the Millennium Development Authority.

The president charged her with directing the activities of the board to ensure that the very purpose of the Second Compact agreement between the Government of Ghana and the Millennium Challenge Corporation of the United States are achieved and on time.

Her principal aim is to judiciously use the 498.2 million dollar investment from the Millennium Challenge Corporation to improve electricity generation and supply to individuals and companies.
