Yeguada is a barrio in the municipality of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico.
[3][4][5] Native people inhabited Yeguada, and the barrio later came to be known for the breeding of horses used for transportation.
In 1899, the United States Department of War conducted a census of Puerto Rico finding that the population of Yeguada barrio was 428.
Part of the Laguna Tortuguero, a natural reservoir, is located in Yeguada.
