Černovice (German: Tschernowitz) is a town in Pelhřimov District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
Černovice consists of nine municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):[2] The initial name of the settlement was Črnějovice.
Černovice was burned down during the Hussite Wars and damaged several times by fires between 1611 and 1857, so almost no historical buildings have survived to this day.
The main landmark of the town square is the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
