1959 Hawaii Senate election

Office established William Hardy Hill Republican The 1959 Hawaii Senate election was held on July 28, 1959, in Hawaii's last days as a territory to elect members of the first Hawaii State Legislature.

Longtime territorial legislator William H. Hill from Hilo was elected President of the Senate, the first Senate president during statehood.
