The 2021 Montana State Bobcats football team represented Montana State University in the Big Sky Conference during the 2021 NCAA Division I FCS football season.

[1] Seeded eighth in the FCS postseason, they received a first-round bye, then defeated UT Martin, #1 Sam Houston, and South Dakota State.

MSU advanced to the championship game in Texas on January 8, 2022, but fell 38–10 to #3 North Dakota State.

[3] The Bobcats had two players selected to the preseason all-Big Sky team.
