They traveled there by float plane provided by the Innu Aitun committee, stayed in a family camp built in the fall of 2015, and used a paddle boat for trips on the lake.

In September 2016 the two Innu spent a week on the lake hunting for moose, caribou, partridge and beaver, and fishing for brook trout.
