Bromotrifluoroethylene (BTFE) is a halogenated ethylene derivative with the chemical formula F2CCBrF.

It is a highly flammable colourless gas with a musty odour resembling phosgene.

The telomers can be prepared with fluorotrichloromethane or tetrachloromethane as telogens.
