Canada at the 1972 Summer Olympics

Canada competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany, held from 26 August to 11 September 1972.

[1] As the country hosted the next Olympics in Montreal, the Canadian flag was raised at the closing ceremony.

In the first modern archery competition at the Olympics, Canada entered three men and three women.

It was the first time Canada had entered pentathletes at the Olympics, and the team was coached by Hungarian-born Joseph Bucsko (1930–1996).
