Ccapi District is one of nine districts of the Paruro Province in Peru.
[1] The people in the district are mainly indigenous citizens of Quechua descent.
Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (96.39%) learnt to speak in childhood, 3.25% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census).
[2] One of the highest peaks of the district is Tawqa Urqu at 4,624 m (15,171 ft).
