Chouteau /ʃoʊˈtoʊ/ is the second-largest town in Mayes County, Oklahoma, United States.

Chouteau, originally called Cody's Creek, became a stop on the Katy railroad in 1871.
The major employer for Chouteau and the surrounding area is the MidAmerica Industrial Park, located approximately three miles northeast of town.
