Murphy is a census-designated place (CDP) in Mayes County, Oklahoma, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.3 square miles (11 km2), all land.

The racial makeup of the CDP was 66.23% White, 26.41% Native American, and 7.36% from two or more races.

22.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 13.5% of families and 22.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 22.7% of those under the age of eighteen and 26.7% of those 65 or over.
