Christian Braswell

Braswell was born on September 27, 1999, and grew up in Washington, D.C.[1] He attended Friendship Collegiate Academy and was a two-way player, as a cornerback and wide receiver.

[2] He helped the team win the DCSAA championship and was named first-team All-USA D.C.[2] Braswell committed to play college football at Temple.

[5][6] Braswell transferred to Rutgers in 2021 but missed the entire season as a result of a knee injury.

[7][8] In 2022, he appeared in all 12 games, five of which he started, and was the Rutgers team leader with 11 pass breakups, additionally posting three interceptions and 36 tackles.

[6][9] He was chosen second-team All-Big Ten by Pro Football Focus (PFF) and named an honorable mention by the media.
