Columbiana Centre is an indoor super-regional shopping mall located off Interstate 26/U.S.

In March 2018, Forever 21’s Riley Rose cosmetics store opened at the mall.

Fifteen people ranging from 15 to 73 years old were hurt during the incident, nine of which were from gunshot wounds.

Three people have since been arrested and are facing multiple charges ranging from unlawful use of a firearm to attempted murder.

[6][7][8][9][10] On July 19, 2022, two anonymous sisters, who were victims of the shooting, filed a lawsuit against the Columbiana Mall for "negligence, gross negligence, and recklessness for failing to provide adequate safety or protection to tenants and shoppers."
