Commonwealth is a town in Florence County, Wisconsin, United States.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 419 people, 170 households, and 124 families residing in the town.

There were 170 households, out of which 31.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.1% were married couples living together, 7.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.5% were non-families.
