The township includes the unincorporated communities of Steamburg, Pennline, Conneaut Center, and Center Road, as well as the northern half of the Pymatuning North census-designated place.

There were 791 housing units at an average density of 19.3/sq mi (7.5/km2).

There were 569 households, out of which 32.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.3% were married couples living together, 8.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.6% were non-families.

19.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
