It is bordered to the east by Crooked Creek, Pymatuning Swamp, and the headwaters of the Shenango River.
The unincorporated community of Hartstown is in the northern part of the township, and Adamsville is in the south.
[4] As of the census[6] of 2000, there were 659 people, 264 households, and 190 families residing in the township.
There were 311 housing units at an average density of 26.9 per square mile (10.4/km2).
23.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
