[6] Woodcock Township is located just north of the geographic center of Crawford County.

French Creek forms the western boundary of the township, except at Saegertown.

Gravel Run, a tributary of French Creek, drains the northern part of the township.

[6] As of the census[7] of 2000, there were 2,976 people, 1,028 households, and 773 families residing in the township.

18.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
