Deerfield is a village in Lenawee County in the U.S. state of Michigan.
The name came from the numerous deer in the area, and Deerfield incorporated as a village in 1873.
[6] According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.95 square miles (2.46 km2), all land.
[2] The River Raisin flows through the area and forms most of the southern border of the village.
21.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 1,005 people, 358 households, and 272 families residing in the village.

The village and surrounding area is served by the Britton Deerfield School District.
