Eagle Point is a 6,247-foot-elevation (1,904-meter) summit in the Olympic Mountains and is located in Clallam County of Washington state.
Precipitation runoff drains into tributaries of the Elwha River and Morse Creek, thence the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Set in the north-central portion of the Olympic Mountains, Eagle Point is located in the marine west coast climate zone of western North America.
As fronts approach, they are forced upward by the peaks (orographic lift), causing them to drop their moisture in the form of rain or snow.
[8] The mountains were sculpted during the Pleistocene era by erosion and glaciers advancing and retreating multiple times.
