East Brookfield is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of East Brookfield in Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States.

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 1,410 people, 527 households, and 394 families residing in the CDP.

The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.87% White, 0.21% Black or African American, 0.07% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.14% from other races, and 0.57% from two or more races.

There were 527 households, out of which 30.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.0% were married couples living together, 8.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.2% were non-families.

20.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
