West Brookfield (CDP), Massachusetts

West Brookfield is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of West Brookfield in Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.5 km2 (1.7 mi2), of which 3.2 km2 (1.2 mi2) is land and 1.3 km2 (0.5 mi2) (29.31%) is water.

[2] As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 1,610 people, 581 households, and 348 families residing in the CDP.

The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.26% White, 0.25% Native American, 0.25% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, and 1.18% from two or more races.

34.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
