Fanning Springs is a city in Gilchrist and Levy counties in the U.S. state of Florida.

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild winters.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 1,182 people, 457 households, and 304 families residing in the city.
