Field hockey competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru were scheduled to be held from July 30 to August 10.

The venue for the competition is the Hockey field located at the Villa María del Triunfo cluster.

[1] A total of eight men's and eight women's teams (each consisting up to 16 athletes) competed in each tournament.

If the Canada and/or the United States have not qualified still, a playoff between the nations and the third ranked at the Pan American Cups will take place.

[2] The Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF) officially announced the qualified teams on September 10, 2018.
