Fiskdale, Massachusetts

Fiskdale (or Fiskedale[2]) is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Sturbridge in Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States.

Fiskdale is generally regarded by residents of Sturbridge to include the northwestern corner of the town, containing Tantasqua Regional High School, the densely populated areas around Route 148 (Brookfield Road), Holland Road area, as well as much of Route 20 to the west of Interstate 84.

[citation needed] As of the census[5] of 2000, there were 2,156 people, 873 households, and 568 families residing in the CDP.

The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.87% White, 0.60% African American, 0.60% Native American, 0.42% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 0.93% from other races, and 1.48% from two or more races.

Of all households, 30.2% were made up of individuals, and 14.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
